I know the photo below makes it look like Mick is just driving around Central South Dakota, but don't be fooled. This man has the hunting instincts of a jungle cat. Notice how attentive he is, the intensity of the concentration etched on his face. This is surely the archetypal hunter-gatherer.

Pheasant hunting, November 2010

Mick and Harley prepare their firearm for pheasant hunting in South Dakota. I had always thought that one used a shotgun for upland game, but retired US Army Colonels have a different idea. Here Harley loads and locks an AR-15 assault rifle for firing.

Actually this was for sport, not for shooting pheasants.

Rennich's birthday is in November and this is the kind of pals Rennich has: One of his pals (who shall remain nameless) knows how much Mick likes to collect golf balls out of hazards on the course. And what a large collection of golf balls Mick has in his office. And how difficult it is for a lawyer to distinguish himself/herself from the rest of the market. So this wonderful guy got Mick his very own ballwasher--just like they have on the course. It is pictured below and it is a thing of great beauty.

One can imagine that Mick will market his law practice around this image. "Balls washed and dried while you wait." "Complimentary ball washing while the ink dries on your Will." What a marvelous gift this anonymous pal has given the Mickster! Already Mick has developed his own secret formula for ball washing fluid and scrubbed up a few dozen for Christmas giving.

Mick is a lucky guy! If you need your balls washed, swing on by his office in Louisville, Colorado!

WHS Class of 1971 Alum David Johnson and Mark Hanson fished the Tongue River in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming.

Pictured here, left to right, are Johnson, Mike Liggett, Hanson and Brian Aamlid. Only Johnson and Hanson are WHS graduates.

There are lots of moose in this area of Wyoming--four more when this bunch comes to town.
